Miguel Ángel Villavicencio is a fourth-generation Salvadoran entrepreneur and coffee grower, and the founder of MAV Coffee. In 2014, he took over the management of the family farms with the goal of preventing their urbanization and preserving a century-old coffee-growing tradition. With vision and commitment, he promoted a sustainable model that revitalized local coffee production, forming a specialized agronomy team to restore the productivity and quality of the land.
Today, together with his children and his Lean Coffee team, he leads four private family farms. Under his direction, MAV Coffee has become one of the best in the country, winning the Cup of Excellence four times and currently holding first place in the Natural category with the Geisha from Finca La Pacaya.
